K Reese is an award winning, Artist, Photographer, and Scanographer.  She exhibits throughout the greater NY areaand is the inventor of Scanography a cutting edge, performance-based digital process linking the fine arts of photography and painting.

 

Although she has been a surrealist since she was seven years old, she received her B.F.A. in painting and photography from the College of New Rochelle much later. In 2000, she was awarded the Bronx Council of the Arts, BRIO Award in drawing, printmaking and artists book.  Exhibitions have included solo and/or group shows at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Rush Arts Gallery, Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos College, the Haven Art Gallery, Workspace Harlem, Neumaa Arts Gallery, and at The Point CDC Art Gallery in the South Bronx, Bellevue Medical Center, NY, the New Century Artists Gallery in Chelsea NY, The Mooney Center Gallery at the College of New Rochelle, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Corporate Library and the Sylvia White Gallery, Ventura CA.  Many paintings, prints and works on paper are in numerous private collections in the U.S.
